Mark Mawson

Mark Mawson's work has taken him all over the world. Now residing in Sydney, Mark's eye-catching images appear regularly in various Australian media and advertising. His extensive client list and famous celebrity sitters would be the envy of many other photographers, yet Mark humbly continues to be fascinated with pursuing new ways of challenging himself.

It's worth noting that Mark shoots with both Olympus' E-System cameras and lenses, as well as a medium format system utilising a 32 megapixel digital back.

Mark has chosen Olympus DSLR cameras because of the speed and quality of professional Zuiko Digital lenses, which deliver razor sharp pictures evenly across the frame, even at fully open apertures. As a frequent location shooter, the ergonomics and compactness of the Olympus bodies and lenses has suited the portability and fast mobility that Mark requires. He's found the quality of Olympus' dust-reduction technology a great time saver in post-production. The image quality of Olympus DSLR equipment can be seen in the many magazine editorials, and covers that Mark has shot using them.

Mark has been an Olympus E-System Ambassador for the last two years and is a member of the ACMP.
