Jamie Gray has transformed seven years in front of the camera to raw attitude behind the lens. Originally working as a fashion model and gaining access to great photographers who inspired his photographic journey, 12 years later Jamie has just opened his first Portrait Studio & Gallery on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Jamie's fashion based style has seen his work appear in numorous magazines for companies such as General Pants, L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Morrissey, along with a large number of hair and surf based clients.

Converting to digital 4 years ago and shooting on Olympus Digital SLR for the last 3, for Jamie there is no turning away from the strength's of the E-system.

"As a photographer I'm trying to capture a moment or emotion rather than just an image. As I have developed as a photographer I have realised that having good technical knowledge is only 50% of being a great photographer. The remaining 50% comes down to respect and repore with your subject. The ease of use of the camera's functionality allows me to focus on my clients not my equipment. In all situations. I know I can depend on my Olympus digital to provide stunning colour and produce beautiful skin tones.

I love that there is so much technology going on behind the scenes independently with in the Olympus E-System. Dust reduction, image stabalisation, super clean files and extremely sharp images all combine effortlessly, allowing me to capture the beauty, light and life of my clients and subjects."
